The Cosmetic Studio Noosa is the Sunshine Coast’s premier nurse-led cosmetic clinic, offering personalised cosmetic services provided by a dedicated team of skilled professionals.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual who can comfortably integrate into our relaxed yet energetic team culture and make every client feel valued from the moment they arrive.
This is a four-day, customer-focused maternity leave cover role that involves administrative tasks, sales, and client interaction, with the opportunity for extended hours after maternity leave.

- Previous reception experience working in medical, GP, dental, cosmetic, and plastic surgery reception.
- Previous training or experience working with skincare, beauty therapy, makeup, or sales.
- Training, certification or experience in clerical, administration, marketing, business, graphic art design, MS Suite, skincare, makeup, beauty therapy, and first aid.
- Experience working in marketing, advertising, social media, or blogging.
- Fascinated by and interested in conceptualising cosmetic medical & skin treatments.
- Thrives in customer service and can make people feel comfortable and at ease.
- An eye for detail. Creative and a talent to lead and grow brand awareness.
- Knowledge or understanding of graphic programs, i.e. InDesign, WordPress.
- Understanding of social media platforms for business, i.e. Facebook. Instagram. Willing to participate in social media marketing.
- Apple, Microsoft, software literate, i.e. Pages. Word. Excel.
- Flexible. Reliable. Organised. Efficient. Enterprising.
- Knowledge of or certification in First Aid and Infection Control Practices.
- Able to work four days per week, Maternity Leave cover and provide holiday & and sick leave relief.
The Role Responsibilities
- Seamlessly manage client bookings and enquiries through phone, social media and walk-ins.
- Warmly meet, greet and seat our clients. Be relaxed and enjoy engaging with them before and after treatments.
- Develop proficiency in taking client photography, helping them to feel comfortable throughout the process.
- Attentively focus on record-keeping, documentation, note-taking, and photo filing; these are medical documents!
- Enthusiastically offer clients information and share past experiences with them about cosmetic treatments, including before-and-after care.
- Respect and maintain our clients’ confidentiality while acting as a supportive presence during their time in the clinic.
- Provide client education and assist with product sales, including mineral makeup application and matching.
- Handle end-of-day reconciliation, stock management, data entry, and record keeping, with a smile on your face!
- Be excited to contribute your ideas to our unique yet compliant in-clinic marketing and social media efforts.
- Diligently maintain clinic aesthetics and assist in sterilising equipment, treatment room stock management, and following infection control standards.
- Participate in training and personal development, including team events, meetings, launches and industry workshops.
