Nurse-led skin needling facials in Noosaville for calmer, glowing skin

Facials in Noosaville on the Sunshine Coast: Nurse-led skin needling facials in Noosaville for calmer, glowing skin.

Nurse-led skin needling facials in Noosaville for hydrated, calmer and more even skin. Compare our Opuluxe E and Opuluxe V facials and find the one for you.

What makes a clinical facial different from a spa facial?

A clinical facial works below the surface. Ours pair skin needling with a professional formula, so the active ingredients reach further than a cream or mask can on its own.

A spa facial is about cleansing, massage and products that sit on top of the skin, and it’s a lovely way to unwind. Ours is a treatment: you’ll leave a little pink, and the difference keeps building over the following weeks.

We offer two, and they suit different skin. The Exosome Skin Facial with Opuluxe E calms and supports skin that’s stressed or reactive. The Opuluxe V Facial is for healthy skin that’s ready for more glow.

Which facial suits your skin?

Both facials use the same skin needling technique. The formula is what changes, so the choice comes down to how your skin is behaving right now.

  • Sensitive, reactive or stressed skin: start with Opuluxe E, made for soothing and barrier support.

  • Skin that feels depleted after summer, travel or a run of treatments: Opuluxe E helps it recover first.

  • Stubborn pigment: Opuluxe E, with niacinamide and glutathione for a more even-looking tone.

  • Dull or dehydrated skin: Opuluxe V, focused on hydration and glow.

  • Early fine lines and loss of bounce: Opuluxe V, for a smoother, firmer-looking finish.

  • Not sure: that's what your assessment is for. Plenty of clients start with E and move on to V.

The needling creates fine microchannels in the skin’s surface. That gives the formula a direct path in, and your skin’s own repair response does the rest.

It’s the same technique as our Dermapen Skin Needling treatment, with a facial formula chosen for your skin added during the session.

Treatment Approach

Every facial starts with a skin assessment by our nurse-led team. We check how your skin is behaving on the day and confirm which formula suits it before we begin.

Numbing cream goes on first, so most people find the needling comfortable. The forehead and around the nose can feel a bit more sensitive.

Expect to leave pink, a bit like mild sunburn. For the first day or two skin can feel warm and tight, and around days three to five you may notice some dryness or light flaking.

From about day five, most people see skin that looks fresher and smoother. Skip makeup, exercise and direct sun for 24 to 48 hours, then wear SPF 50+ every day under our Queensland sun.

We usually recommend a course of three sessions, around four weeks apart. Results build across the course rather than all at once.

Who should wait, or choose something else?

Skin needling isn't right for everyone, and we'd rather tell you that at your assessment than after.

Not right for everyone

Pricing for each facial, including course packages and any current offers, is on the Exosome Skin Facial with Opuluxe E and Opuluxe V Facial pages.

The price covers your skin assessment, numbing, the skin needling and the professional formula.

The one that matches what your skin needs right now. Stressed or reactive skin usually does better with calming and repair first, while healthy, dull skin responds well to a glow focus.

That’s why we assess first. A strong treatment on the wrong skin day does less than a gentler one on the right day.

Often, yes. Opuluxe E was formulated for soothing and barrier support, so it’s usually where we start with sensitive or reactive skin.

We’ll check your current products and any sensitivities first. If your skin is flaring, we’ll suggest settling it before treatment.

Most people find it comfortable, because we apply numbing cream before we start. You’ll feel a light vibration and some prickling, a little more on the forehead and around the nose.

Most people are back at work the next day, just a little pink. Skin can feel tight for a day or two, and some light flaking around days three to five is normal.

Hold off on makeup, exercise and saunas for 24 to 48 hours. By the weekend, most clients are back to their usual routine.

For a visible change, a course of three sessions around four weeks apart is what we recommend. After that, occasional maintenance sessions keep things ticking over, timed around your skin and your calendar.

They do different jobs. A spa facial is great for relaxing and a surface refresh, while a clinical facial is a treatment aimed at hydration, tone and texture over a course.

If you’re after a change you can see in a few weeks, a clinical facial is the better fit. Our Healite LED is a gentle add-on if you want something calming too.
